Summary of Purpose
Welcome gentlemen,
After almost two years of dealing with two separate divorce lawyers, not to mention my now ex-wife's lawyer, I realized what was needed to help men in Rhode Island to manage their divorce lawyer.
Therefore I have created this public forum for men to post reviews of their divorce lawyer's work so that others may benefit from your experience. By participating in this forum, you will be able to keep your lawyer accountable to you, knowing that unreturned phone calls and poor communication will lead to others knowing about their shoddy work before making the decision to hire them.
I will create posts on the divorce lawyers that I have dealt with and for divorce lawyers that I know others have hired. You may add your comments to any of my posts for all to see. I encourage you to read not only the posts, but all of the comments attached to a post which might either confirm a similar experience or provide a totally opposite insight.
If you would like to post or comment on a Rhode Island divorce lawyer who is not yet listed here, please just drop me a short email and I will add that divorce lawyer to our blog so that you, and others, may post and comment.
Finally, let me note that my purpose here is not just to help men. Divorce stinks and is sad, even when it is the right thing to do. There are many other resources to help you through this difficult time, and we will post links to some of them on the blog. But the main purpose of this blog is to help men manage their divorce lawyer and to allow you a forum to review their work.
I suspect many Rhode Island divorce lawyers will not like that I have started this forum. But those who do good work, and are appreciated by their clients, will benefit from this forum. It is for them and for frustrated men going through divorce in Rhode Island, that I create this site.
